I hate writing about myself. It feels awkward in first person, and in third it seems impersonal and like something that a grownup person would totally do. Soo, I am going to pretend to interview myself by myself...

Me2: How long have you been doing art Ivo?
Me: Well, never really. [laughs] But joking aside, I’ve been doing digital art since beginning of 2015, so unless you are reading this in 2020 it wasn’t that long ago.
Me2: And what do you do for a living?
Me: I sell stuff to people who need and don't need stuff. I am moderately good at it.
Me2: And what is your goal here on DeviantArt?
Me: Well, I want to take my art to the next level and I think that being here among fellow artist and being open to criticism is the best way to do it.
Me2: Okay. And how do you feel being this millennia's sexiest person alive?
Me: Well good, but I gotta admit that you look good as well. You are a handsome little devil.
Me2: Well thank you sir. I hope we’ll have you again in my show ‘Mind of totally not insane person.’
Me: Sure. Sure.

I have decided to do a painting every day for a year... All in all, 365 paintings... Some will be complex and others will be quite simple depending on how much time I will have...
And I guess that there will be a lot of paintings where I will look at them and think "I wish I would've made background lighter here so composition would make more sense", or "Damn, eye seems just a bit weird... I wish I had drawn it a micrometer higher" etc.
Funny thing is I used to consider myself a perfectionist. I thought "Oh, this is not good enough" and then keep that painting for myself... Today I realize that it wasn't perfectionism that stopped me, it wa

There is an old legend in Croatia.
There was a tree. Tree was ancient and strong. Unlike many other things, the older it got stronger it became. In the treetop, the sun shined. Fruits grew and green leaves covered everything. There lived Perun, large God with big white beard and big muscles who commanded anything light touched, even light itself bended to his wishes.
